“Sorké / Shanklish / Shankleesh / شنكليش is a type of cheese in Syrian and Levantine cuisine. It is made from curdled yoghurt and has a lively, tangy flavour. We also add aromatic herbs to further accentuate the flavour. In texture, Shanklish is smooth and creamy and similar to feta cheese. However, Shanklish is less salty with more depth of flavour than feta.

We also infuse our Shanklish cheese balls with a hint of chilli for an even greater culinary sensation.

Eat Shanklish in salads, with crackers or use it as a colourful addition on a cheese board!”
