Matured for a minimum of 4 weeks, Smoked Drumlin is a hard, raw cow’s milk cheese which is beechwood smoked for 8 hours to give it its distinctive flavour.

Grassy, smokey and a bit too bitter
Initial smokeyness is appetising, but the aftertaste and intensity is a bit too overpowering and lasting. Good if you want to be tasting smokey cheese in your mouth long into the evening.
Smoke on the water
On fist bite, I’m eating Smokey Bacon crisps which is a treat but then it becomes a little overpowering. I can imagine enjoying this with a peaty whisky.
Rich & smokey
Lovely texture, if you love your smokey flavours you’ll love this. Will give it another try, but feel I might prefer the original Drumlin.
