Bit bitter for me, but an award-winner nonetheless!

Very strong on the mouldy scent and taste, transitions to bitter notes which continue into a long finish. Might be a bit much for some but has a undoubted, fine pedigree – winning Best Cheese at the 2014 World Cheese Awards ahead of 2,700 others!

Very strong and bitter

Tried this after being told by the guy at the Bath Soft Cheese stand at Borough Market that this cheese was an award-winner. Bath Blue has a very strong and long bitter flavour so would please those who like sour punchy cheeses. However, if you’re not into sour cheeses, I’d opt for something softer.
